Python is a powerful programming language which is beginner-friendly used
everywhere from schools to web developers to global corporations.
You will work within a team that operates as a mini consultancy firm and speak with a representative to understand the business requirements and key functions of the platform. You will then present your work to a panel of FDM stakeholders who will decide which team has been the most successful.
You will design 4-8 wireframes for your platform, and think about the following:
Colour scheme
Security (password, 2 factor identification)
Profile information
Drop down menu
Ways to connect (follow, message or send invite)
Events page
Job board
The event is ideal for graduates and final year university students with a passion for tech. Because the bootcamp is beginner-friendly, even if you have little or no experience in coding, you’re very welcome to register and take part.
FDM’s expert trainers teach you the fundamentals of Python
Create a game yourself – think Wordle, Mastermind, Hangman
Network with other passionate females over some lunch
Meet ANZ Leaders, FDM Trainers and Recruitment Team

Female coding bootcamp
FDM & ANZ share a common commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, particularly in the realm of technology. We both recognise the untapped potential of female tech talent.
Through our collaborative efforts running coding bootcamps and more, we aim to bridge the gender gap and strive to harness the innovative contributions that people who identify as women bring to the table.
Note: Although we use the word women, it is important to us that you understand our definitions include all women; cisgender, transgender or gender diverse, and we acknowledge and include those who identify outside the binary.
